Natural Wonders

The Beaches

Barbuda’s greatest natural wonders are its beaches and bays. The pink sand beach at Low Bay on the west coast and the beach running north and west of Coco Point run for miles along the shores of bays made calm by the constant northeast trade wind. There is an impossible argument as to the length of these beaches that run virtually around this island that measures 8 miles by 12 miles. Even the Virgin Islands sports Barbuda sand which until recently was a major export of the island.

Low Bay is bounded by 10 miles of Pink Sand Beach
